But we here at Crossfade have finally received details about some of the acts slated to perform.
Who else better to headline a music festival with a heavy focus on art than Kanye West? Through his blog and Twitter, West frequently name-drops artists and designers. And on his last album,My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezy looked to contemporary artist George Condo for cover art while self-directing a short film for the track “Runaway.”
Also joining West in the festival’s debut lineup is The Offspring, Keane, Cocoon Heroes, rock legend Lou Reed, Erick Morillo, and Bob Sinclar. But seeing how this is going to be a two-day, multi-stage festival, there’s no doubt that many more acts will be announced.
We’re also told to expect “a bespoke art gallery on site to present emerging artists in all medium from the contemporary art world.” Further, two additional music stages will be curated by The Fader and Reignfield presented by Miami’s nightlife/event collective Poplife.
