Two people died, 19 were hospitalized and 45 arrested July 26 after the “Identity” festival featuring Swedish DJ Eric Prydz at Comcast Center near Boston.
Drugs and alcohol were related to the deaths, police told the Boston Globe. The deceased were men ages 19 and 20.
The 19 hospitalizations were drug related as well, police said, with the arrests coming on various drug charges as well as for minors possessing alcohol, disorderly conduct, fake I.D.s and one for domestic assault and battery.
“Police and emergency medical services were extraordinarily busy throughout the day and evening with criminal activity and medical issues,” Mansfield Police Chief Arthur O’Neill told the Globe. “These matters continue to be actively investigaged by Mansfield Police Department detectives.”
