Everyone’s favorite Chicago Krew has just released the official music video for their most recent single, “Enjoy the Ride”. The tune has been a popular hit for Krewella, appearing in Bud Light’s Super Bowl #upforwhatever campaign, performed live on FOX’s New Year’s Eve Live!, and receiving the remix treatment from Armin van Buuren and Vicetone. The circus-themed music video opens with Jahan, Yasmine and Rain Man sitting in a forest with Rain Man on guitar. Yasmine sees a picture on the television advertising “a brand new act”, and the video switches to a circus scene. Two of the locked up circus acts escape to a gathering in the forest headed by none other than Jahan, Yasmine and Rain Man. The boy and girl from the circus are in awe as they watch the Krew perform their hearts out. But was it all a dream in the circus girl’s head? Watch the video below and decide for yourself. Keep an eye out for Krewella’s upcoming appearances at Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, CounterPoint Music Festival, and their VERGE campus spring tour.Read More

Simian Mobile Disco have been constantly evolving and reinventing themselves since they formed nearly ten years ago and next month they’ll once again cross into unchartered territory.
On April 26 the duo will perform a special show near California’s Joshua Tree National Park and the event entitled ‘Whorl’ will be recorded live and turned into their next album.
Using only one synth and and a sequencer each, the pair will be ‘committed’ to any sound that they create and although the majority of the LP will be recorded in the studio as well, the album will be mainly based around the show.
Jas Shaw says: ‘We’ll be recording numerous takes beforehand in the studio, and when we come to mixdown the album, we might well end up using portions of studio takes as well as those recorded in the desert.
“At the moment, the whole project is pretty fluid, and there’s no telling where it will be by the time we actually perform.”
